It's rare for someone to have an all time favorite coral for years to come. There's always one that comes and takes the top spot. Here's mine!

It's a gorgonian of some type. I mistook it for an SPS when I first saw it. This pic was the day I got it... excuse the cyano at the base.. it's now gone from my tank.

Mine is my Purple Garf Bonsai - It was my first SPS and start out at maybe an inch tall. I treated it like gold and really wanted to see if i could maintain SPS.

Early pic from almost 2 years ago!! (July 09) When i got it, it was fresh cut and glued to the frag plug so this pic is even after a month or so as it is encrusted!

FSU-is the FTS under the same lighting as the top down shot? If so that is a crazy difference! Both look great, but so different

Yeah both were using my 150w Phoenix Sunpod - I may have played with the camera to get a truer color on the first shot. The second has less blue than what actually is there....no actinics back then

Tyree Green Polyp Toadstool, Nepthea Colony
DSC_2308.jpg

The Nepthea is roughly 3 years old now, it started out as a tiny frag in my g/f's 20G tank. In the past year or so, it has really exploded in growth!
The Toadstool has been with me for a while as well!
