Well... After being in and supporting military conflicts for the last 20 years, I am now an Enterprise Architect for a fortune 500 hardware company designing high performance computing clusters for .Gov for stuff like AI/Machine Learning, Big Data crunching, and other things Governments do with lots of computer cycles.

Been an interesting ride going from ground pounder to operations techno wizard to building things that you hope will not become self aware and kill my Gold Flake Clownfish.

Have you read Super Intelligence by nick bostrom? How close are we to true AI? Very interesting field!

I had to leave my work as a superintendent on building custom homes in hawaii. Now I care for my father in Utah, who suffers from Parkinson's and stroke.
This is why I got into reefing. The smell of the ocean and the rewards of watching an entire ecosystem flourish from your own efforts.

For the last 6 years I’ve worked for Toyota, TMMK, in KY. First in Assembly and now Quality Inspections for the Camry and Avalons. Before that I owned my own retail window coverings business in Estero FL for 25 years. Miss the SW Florida Gulf waters and all that it provides so the reef is the closest I can get.
Kept FOWLR for many years in Florida. The reef is my new challenge and peace.
