I don’t like BRS and some of their info and I’ve found it to kind of contradict what I’ve read here and elsewhere. Looking at their 160, they made some pretty bad fish choices, I say this because I see stuff that will outgrow a 160 (Sohal). They also tend to be a bit technical and overly experimental with stuff and tend to ramble a lot, but then I guess I’m kind of biased because I am much more of a fish person than a coral person who would invest lots of time and energy and buy equipment into keeping corals, just some basic stuff so I can focus on the fish.

Having said this, I’ve found the better channels to be:
1. Reef Dork (UK)
2. ReefMan (US)
3. Prestige Reef (UK)
4. Parker’s Reef (AUS)
5. Dutch Reefer (EU)
6. Alfredo Reis Deus (Portugal)
7. MileHighReefers (US)
8. Simple Aquariums (AUS)
9. Tidal Gardens (US)
10. Melev’s Reef (US)

I don’t really like the style of some of the others such as Inappropriate Reefer.

The list I was given when I (re)started was:
Coral Euphoria
Queen of Reef
Reef Dudes
Telegraham
BRSTv

Have to admit I use BRS the most, but I liked the others as well.
Im guilty of binge watching BRS too - especially BRS investigations haha

I like one called Blue Reef Tank. Calming shots, and fairly short update vids of pretty tanks that inspire me.

I think I also tend to watch Reef Builders more than I realized I was.

Never understood youtube, or how people spend hours on it. Is it like TV for the internet age?

I do not go to youtube unless someone links me there, or if ai need a "how to" video. With that said, I will watch a BRS investigates video on occasion.

REEF BEEF! Nothing more informative and funny than Ben and Rich. I eagerly look forward to new episodes every week. No BS, just knowledge based on years of experience. Ben has something like 700 years experience doing maintenance. They also post it as a podcast for easy listening.
