Brightly colored torches, jawbreakers, and the more unique looking zoas (stratosphere, great owl, god beast).

Mushrooms and bubble tips are pretty hot. There’s some neat ones out there, but I think some of the popularity is driven by some people who look at them as easy to chop up/split and post on FB marketplace.

Acanthos and gonis are also pretty “trendy” right now.

My local LFS told me zoa demand is way down, and in fact many of the pure zoa guys are starting to branch out due to low demand. Prices sure aren't going down!

A lot of vendors in Canada have been blowing out overstock sticks - great for me, but there must be a bit of a downturn in demand.
Only thing that sells in Vegas lol.. cheap and easy to care for! There’s like 3 stick heads in Vegas that I know of and a couple torch guys but the rest are all zoas and toad stools.

I hear you Rev, hard to believe how long ago it actually was that everyone had to have PPRPEs, Armageddons, Watermelon Chalice, Space Invader Pectinia, Sunset Monti, Blue Xenia, and Tyree anything.
From what I've noticed lately:

Holy Grail/ Banana/ Grinch Torches
Insanity Plate
OG Bounce Mushroom
Bounce Eclectus Mushroom
Amazeballs Goniopora
Red Glitter Goniopora
Killshot Acans
Great Owl Zoa
God Beast Zoa
Stratosphere Zoa
Nicely colored Acanthophyllias...prices are ridiculous but I can't say how in demand they are

I don't do SPS and they seem to come and go fast on hype but from an outsider I'd say:

Rainbow Splice and other nice grafted ones
Nice tenuis...too many to name
speciosas

Softies seem to be making a comeback in my area. But usually whatever is the most colorful. Zoas and torches are always popular. Sticks are popular amongst the stickheads, but not usually mainstream.
Who wants to b mainstream, just sayin, lol. Any of the above mentioned with some lps like Goni, and micromussa / micro favites. Into the OG and smooth skin types, Gotta appreciate the sticks!!!

I think anything that has contrasting bright colors will be in demand. This goes for all species of corals

Gonipora I also think is in demand now. Amazeballs is almost impossible to find for less than $400 for a sub 1” frag
I've been lucky to get a couple of amazeballs in auctions for under $300 each

There are advertising on this site that mention auctions like TCK, ARC, AquaSD, Corals.com among others. Look it up on marketplace and they run weekly.
unique corals has put amazeballs on eBay a few times recently for low starting price but they set the reserve around 400 lol
