I can't believe he's gone, I was really hoping to meet him someday. I've read his articles since I was a kid, When I was younger it felt like he was the only voice telling me that it was possible. I take some comfort in knowing that his presence in the hobby will be immortalized by his work.

My thoughts are with his family, friends and every reefer who's life he touched.

It's with deep regrate that I've received the news about Jake Adams from Reef Builders has passed away on a flight to Bali. Jake was the one who inspired me to push deeper into this hobby. We shared many philosophies about aquariums in general and had plans with him for some projects in the future, this news is devastating and shows how fragile life can be, and be taken away at any moment. Jake Adams on his own, was able to change the view of millions of reef hobbyists, his influence transcended through the ocean reaching other communities and people of different ages. The impact he had was tremendous and very hard to grasp how so important it was for many of us. His passion for marine life was like no other.

All my Condolences to his family and friend, you will be deeply missed, Rest In Peace.

Final frame from his last video...

My heart aches. It doesn't make sense... Gone far far too soon.

Man, I couldn't believe the news when I first heard it. RIP to one of the GOATs. He is one of the biggest influences on me and the hobby, provided and produced some of the best content, and was a down to earth guy. I never got to meet him in person unfortunately but from my few conversations with him through Instagram, they were always a joy.

Prayers and condolences to his family and friends, we'll miss you Jake

Did Jake have cancer , heart attack , or other ?
"Medical Emergency" is what it's being referred to, more specifically he may have suffered a Blood Clot on his flight to Bali last night but that is not confirmed yet so I won't say it as a fact

Makes no sense for a guy so young and healthy.
