I started a tank and loved it. It was a 35 gallon Red Sea max and thrived for a year and a half until my lease ran out and landlord sold home. So I sold tank to new owner. I said after I buy a house then I’ll start another. So 2 years after buying my home I’m ready, and here is stage one.... Mods. I got a Red Sea Max 250 for $150 bucks and was more annoyed than anticipated by the scratch’s and bought a glass only tank 250 off eBay for $300. And now everything looks new. Here’s mods so far. 2 80mm cooling fans, 4 60mm x 25mm fans for cooling less. Eshopps eclipse medium overflow, eshopps rs-100 sump, 2 ocean revive led lights fabricated into hood, 120 degree flat led moon lights 470nm ... here’s a few pics. Off to a good start. I’ll keep you posted. Cycling 63 pounds of live rock with skimmer for next several weeks. I’ll update then.
