I’m brand new to the hobby and picked up a 2” fairy wrasse at my LFS today. They bought it as a Red-Fin Fairy Wrasse but thought it was actually a Naoka’s Fairy Wrasse. Any ideas?

@Slocke @i cant think
I would have said ruby longfin (C. rubeus), but that yellow is leaving me doubtful. Tagged the experts!

Definitely a rubeus, C. naokoae has a defined yellow stripe right down their back and the orange is much more of a deep red.

Thanks everyone!! That’s so helpful to know it’s a C. rubeus. He seems to be doing well so far and has been eating brine shrimp. He’s a really cute fish. Below is a short video of him.
