CUC ordered!
I decided to go with Aquarium Depot, as they are fairly close and had the best prices, and also had what I wanted. Here is what we got...

8 money cowries (Recommended at 1 per 10g, 2 for extremely dirty tanks. I figured with the other CUC I have, I'd go a little conservative)
1 tiger conch (Stays smaller than my last conch, which got absolutely huge)
1 black rock urchin (because pretty purpley black, and I wanted one. Bonus, eats algae)

All three decimate hair algae, and I have no shortage of that. Plan is to get the CUC in and turning GHA back into detritus and phosphates that the skimmer and chaeto can remove. My fuge is already full from the last trimming. This time it isn't perfectly clean, there is some scoogy gunk in it. I've come to terms that I probably won't be able to control nutrients thru skimmer and fuge alone, I still need to decide if I'm going to get more GFO or use another media to remove excess phosphates. Rowaphos was reccomended, but that looks to be a bit on the expensive side.

I don't have time to read through all the posts right now, but I'm going to be watching this tank. I love, love, love the branching rock! I need to remember that if I ever build up another tank. You have some fantastic photos.

Welcome aboard @Salty Lemon! I'll grab the tequila.

I don't have time to read over my own posts... lol, it's ok. Any questions feel free to ask. There is a detailed equipment and stock list along with FTS on the first page ;)

Just take the last FTS, and add about a pound of GHA on the branch rock and that's how the tank looks right now. :( At least the LPS and Montis still look happy!

Ooooh. It looks pico-nano sized...:)
The stand/cabinet is 20"×24"×36". Its what size fit having one door. So, yea it is nano sized. I gotta get a sheet of 1/2" ply to finish it. Oh and paint... yay paint. ;Facepalm

Hey Robin, Looks like the tank is on Cruse Control . I thought you were making a canopy now I see its a cabinet, Electronics or A tank stand?
I've heard they will eat other snails. Have you seen that?
Might bee some truth to that. Turbo snails dont last long in my tank:confused:

I love it when someone reuses materials. I am not a greenie, I just can't stand to throw out lumber! LOL!

I salvaging most of a house next month out in the woods. It was built out of oak. Even the 2x4s are oak!

I will have to start a blog back up about building furniture because I will have more lumber than I can say grace over.

If by cruise control you mean growing GHA like its it's a cash crop, then yea... she is on cruise control.

The "new" cabinet is... a surprise.

I am guessing it's a dosing/auto top off/equipment cabinet with an AIO nano on top.

That's awesome! I'd love to get an old barn with chestnut boards... man the stuff I'd like to make for the house with it.

Hopefully they were packed well....
I just got a phone call from LiveAquaria customer service after I sent an email notifying them my package missed the plane. Quoted me the same thing I just told them, that the package missed the plane and that the bag should have enough air and water for 48-72 hours. If anything happens I still have their guarantee... I'd rather not use that tho, not with how hard finding one of these is. Especially colored as much as this one.
