Beautiful fish ! ! !

I have been running GFO and ROX together in a BRS reactor for months and it works great. I don't use the recommended amount though. I use much less. About 1/2-3/4 cup of each.

Update from work. Tested nutrients again today. NO3 is 1.5ppm, confirmed with API that I was on the right side of my Red Sea test. Sometimes low and high range can be a little close and low goes from 0-4ppm and high range is 4ppm up to 32 or 64... just a little difference on the scales. Anyway, the API didn't even register, so we are confident in the 1.5ppm reading. PO4 was exactly 0.04ppm. Dead color match, no guessing involved. pH was 8.0 on the API test. I dosed another 2ml of KNO3 to bump us up over 2ml. Tomorrow I'll test calcium, alkalinity and magnesium. We haven't tested Mg yet.

I'm also going make up some some fresh salt mix and do a water change. I want to check the alk on my salt mix also, just to make sure I didn't get a bucket with really low alk.

Robin, show me a pic.
I'm not sure what you would like to see, but Cleo says hey.

Y'all are so far above my skill level. Is it ok if I'm the special reefer here? I read through your posts and absorb bits and pieces. Some is so far above my head, it might as well be another language. Please be patient.

I need all the help I can get, even if it's telling me all my coral is beautiful when it's really pale. ;)

I need to replace a bulb in my biocube. I'm intimidated. I guess we'll see how it goes. Hopefully I'll get my bulb today. I guess if you don't see anymore posts, you'll know...she did it wrong.

Have any of y'all changed bulbs in an oceanic biocube? Tips? Tricks? Anything I should be careful with on particular?
