Mine is a marineland rimless 60. I had no issues. Stand is solid, only issue is the carpet so some shimming was needed. This seems really odd. I've heard nothing but good things about SCA tanks.

What’s going on twinny?! I noticed the foam that came with mine was damaged due to shipping ( didn’t like that factory foam anyhow) so I bought 2 pieces of foam board from WM and placed them together. Did you run a straight edge on the bottom of the tank? I know my tank isn’t sqare it’s off by 1/8” top side l-r...

I think the foam is just mashed on that one side more than the other.

I'm about to set the scape back up and fill it. The stand is level, shimmed, does not rock and my floor is solid. I straight edged the top of the stand and could not find any noticible high spot. The foam will compress.

I'm losing corals due to crap filtration and poor lighting. Time to get this thing up and running. Gotta get flipped for nightshift anyway. Time to pull and all nighter. I'll see y'all in the morning, with a running tank.

Alright, so Steve from SCA says to use 1/4" yoga mat since the foam mat was mashed. Now I gotta get someone back over here tomorrow to help pick this tank up... that's IF I can find a yoga mat. Ugh... off to Walmart.

My WM didn’t have the yoga mat but 2 pieces of the foamboard worked for me, though they were grey not black but the sand takes care of that...

Good luck w the setup!
I'm in the process of setting up a 93 gal cube as well.

Did you end up going with a 230 or 250 gyre pump?

My instinct is to go for a 250 and run it super low as I've heard noise can be an issue with these.

Fixing to leave for nightshift... but I managed to get this thing full and circulating water. Kessils, 1K gyre, SW4 and one of the 200W heaters are hooked up. Hopefully the sand and mud cloud will clear tomorrow, then check salinity, get ATO hooked up and fish and corals(the few I have left) will get moved over.

Looking good man. How close is your light fixture to the water? What are your planned coral?

Right now, its about yeigh high over the water...

Lol, when I had the Seneye out before I set the Fixture at 6" over the water and got 400-420 PAR at the top of the rocks. I'll adjust and level it later.

Planned corals are acans, trachy, favia... those types of LPS. I've never cared for the long, stringy, tentacle looking LPS. Tops of rocks will have SPS, Stylo, monti, acros... Zoas will be scattered here and there.

Liking the plan!

Hopefully you can get Murphy evicted before you add livestock!

Yea I hope so.

So I've been on the notification list for a large bucket of the Fiji mud, as I liked it in the Deep Blue. We even recycled the mud that was in there. It still felt like mud... anyway, It JUST donned on me why there isn't any available. Fiji shut down all collection of fish coral and rock, and evidently mud.
