Turns out my old boss is going to SC on business soon, if only I knew someone there to send some replacements for some zoas they lost!? ;)
(Firstly I need to find out if it is legal and secondly I need to persuade her to carry them and pop them in the post at the airport?)

Funny my Melanarus and my Pintail are the best of friends. The Pintail was actually his only friend for the first few weeks I had him and I believe bridged the gap to the rest of the tank. Here they are sharing a snack.

@Scurvy, They are all around the same size... tried to get two at the store that were the same size as the lubbocki on purpose. The pylei gets larger than the other two if I remember correctly.

@najer, I know it's perfectly legal to fly with fish or coral as a carry on inside the states. I'm not sure about importing them tho. I'm pretty sure there's some permits involved.

Just looked closely, size from largest to smallest goes mccoskeri, lubbocki, pylei, but there is less than 1/4 between all three. Dominance goes lubbocki, mccoskeri, pylei.

The mccoskeri is ignoring the other two for the most part today. The lubbocki will let the pylei swim around for a little while, then dive bomb her and disengage. No physical contact, just dart over to her real fast and chase very briefly.

I'll have to go to walmart and see if I can get a cheap pocket mirror or something to tape to the tank. That lubbocki will hate his evil twin when he sees him.

My jungle juice zoas are starting to come back, as well as the purple and hot pink ones that I don't know the name of and have them in a spot where I can't get a picture. I found the rasta frag, buried under hair algae in the 14g. One polyp left. I scrubbed it off and placed it on the rack in the deep blue. With my other zoas growing it should grow too.

Nice fish and Im with brew on ditching the 6-line, how do you trap them
If you dont have a trap, you can make one with a 2 liter bottle. super easy and cheap! I usually use small glass cleaner to secure it the glass but you could also weigh it down with sand or rubble rock. Pardon the images. quickly snagged from google.

Yep, and be patient. let the fish swim in and out for an hour or two. Let them get comfortable with it. Then just sit yourself near the tank and wait for the target to enter. Ive found that having half of the glass cleaner on the outside of the tank so you can quiclly turn the bottle upright is very effective. Without it a lot of times the target will spook and swim out before you get your hand in the water to manipulate the bottle.

Also use an empty bottle that had something less nasty in it.. Non flavored soda water or seltzer water is what I went with.
