Yeah I’ve been seeing threads and Jay has been talking about it.. even a local friend has went through 3 of them in a year, he said he gets 2-3 months and then boom gone… ugh… hopefully I have better luck! I’m 0-3 on convict tangs and this is my first go around with a blonde.

Here’s something crazy! I grabbed all his acros the day before we drained it.. obviously some where encrusted to rocks etc.. yesterday morning after draining the tank I put the rocks in black trash bags for the day while doing what we had to do to get the tank moved and going.. after 7 hours of being out of the water the corals still survived and mostly Sps believe it or not. Here’s a big chunk of mystic monti

I have a hard time believing that's not in the ocean, but WOW. Good luck with your setup!

Kept debating a frag tank… realized ummm I have a 125 gallon sump that’s wide open! Why go through all the nonsense of another tank… upon that I came up with this today to sit in my sump… fully functional all in one frag rack that can be moved or set up in any tank of water.. I have a spare Ai hydra 26 that will sit on top and can do what ever I want with this thing! I love it! Some times I impress myself :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: Haha! When I get time I’ll get it thrown in the sump with the light so you guys get a better idea of my vision… help keep my ph up night also!

I spy Weldon 42! I just had a bad experience with it trying to bond a top on a tank. After 4 days is was still soft enough to pry the top off! Three days of clean up and polishing and we did it again with a new batch. Now the seam micro bubbled. Going to cut it apart again and solvent weld this time. Have to use a special router bit for removing Corian sinks. Clean it all up again and try again. Using this as a training tool for my crew.

By the way did you hand polish that rack or flame it? Looks great and what a great idea!
