Finally getting some color on my strawberry shortcake that came in brown as can be! I’m excited for this piece as it’s one of my all time favorite sticks!

Tank update… dosed second round of Prazipro yesterday and hopefully the flashing stops for good now! Got some new goodies coming in the next couple days also! Big water change tomorrow and then the addition of livestock yay! Got a nice purple and gold sqamosa clam, mandarin and a Colorado sunburst! I’ve been wanting this nem since I got back in the hobby! I had one 12 years ago and it was so vibrant and one of my favorite inhabitants.. Hoping it settles in quick without doing too much damage! Once it’s happy I can plant everything in that general area for good!

Late night and early morning but I got my mandarin last night and this decent size clam! It’s about 6” already… lights were out when I added it but here’s a moon light pic and a picture from my buddy in his tank..

That’s beautiful. I have been pondering getting a clam. Never had one in a smaller tank though. At 40G just not sure it would do well.

If you got good lights it should be fine.. it’s just like a acro! Decent water and high lighting.. just try to find one that’s around 2” or so they seem easier than the tiny guys… this one is rather large at 6” or so:

I’ve got a G6 XR15 Pro and am adding 4 T5 hybrid to supplement (I miss my T5’s!). So lighting should be fine.

You should be fine.. mine requires more light than the rest “maxima” but the sqammys etc would be fine.. even a maxima placed right would be fine under the radion.

Nem def did not stay put! Seen him on the side of a different rock this morning when I left for work… glad I changed all the mp40’s out to new wet sides with nem guards… gonna be a long 12 hours wondering where it’s at lol
