Yes, the post said they would get trapped by the stocking material and the dragonet could peck through. My stockings must have been too cheap, because they just floated up... Much to the pleasure of the dottyback. I used the inside lining of... Um... And old bra... And it's working great!! I'll try and find the post.
lol whatever works

We have had success in cutting the affected part out and giving the good part a dip in Reef Primer. When you cut, make sure you cut at least 1/4" or more up from the base of the die-off. This will ensure you are not getting any of the effected tissue on that cut.

This isn't perfect but it's about the only option we have used that saved any RTN corals.
That sucks lol, but I'll try it. Thanks.

So are you just injecting the BBS into that through the tube? then they slowly make their way out? I've seen similar contraptions but not with such a fine screen.

At one point, I had a led in the container so that the eggies might stay down.

Nice, We actually do not have a single one here at Tidal Gardens. To be blunt, we are not fish people around here so almost all our fish are utilitarian, Tangs, Wrasse etc etc.
I'm so glad to hear that. NOT a fish person either. Until I rescued some tanks, I had the dottyback (Gilligan), the Mando and a watchman (Skipper) that had to go in the pod tank to recover from the jerk face Gilligan harassing him.

One of the tanks I rescued went belly up in 3 days from (turn out) velvet... New to me! Broke my heart. I thought BJD was bad enough. Try losing a $400 harlequin tusk overnight! PASSSSSS

Still, I LOVE my Mando!

Are you dosing Kalk? That is our GO TO for keeping pH higher.
Yes sir, best my corals have looked in a while. But I use it to help manage the low swing, because it's in conjunction with All for Reef, which allows me to get the trace elements And have the magical bennefits of kalk. However, because I use both, I can only dose so much kalk for salinity and chemistry reasons. The total amount is slowly dosed an hour after lights out.. incrementally more and more until the lowest point ..lights on. So the co2 helps bring it all up a bit overall. I Usually don't drop below 8.2 ... but I hit 8.16 this morning!! *Gasp! : )

What's a good PH meter to use? I got a cheap one when I first started my tank and would like to upgrade it.

Splitting hairs there my friend. But if you can afford the media then no doubt run it. We have so much air turnover in these buildings that we never worry about pH
