Are you using some kind of feeding device for the BBS?
I found a R2R post by from like 2016 from Paul B (he seems to be the resident expert on dragonets.) he talked about a feeding station he designed using a stocking, tube and case. I adapted it for what I had on hand.

oh boy! came for the corals, staying for the stickers!
I took one of those magnets your local body shop can print on their printer, cut it up and stuck my TG stickers to the pieces. Now my stickers adorn the fridge!

So are you just injecting the BBS into that through the tube? then they slowly make their way out? I've seen similar contraptions but not with such a fine screen.

Currently slaving away...trying to figure out if I should let the kids starve for a couple weeks or if I should FINALLY order from TG?!

ORDER CORALS!!!

We haven't seen ours go for prepared foods yet but they should have plenty to eat. Only one in a 300 or 600-gallon tank.
Have you tried the various Reef Nutrition pod products by chance?

Also, ground up TDS pellets have worked too. I mentioned it previously, but we payed a premium for ours. I'm lucky enough to have a LFS (Hightide Aquatics in Oakland, CA), that does a full QT process and gets them eating various items before offering them for sale. I know he doesn't do much in regard to shipping, but it would be a worthwhile phone call to anyone interested to see if Kenny could ship one out. Like I said though...these will not be your typical $30 Petco dragonette! Easily looking at $100 per fish. Worth every dang penny in my book!

I was wondering the same thing. What is happening there?!

Yes, the post said they would get trapped by the stocking material and the dragonet could peck through. My stockings must have been too cheap, because they just floated up... Much to the pleasure of the dottyback. I used the inside lining of... Um... And old bra... And it's working great!! I'll try and find the post.

Anyone have any ideas for dealing with RTN on an acro colony? I just got home from my LFS getting skme nitrate reagent and half the colony died
I'm so sorry.... But acros scare me... Because I don't know stuff like that.

We have had success in cutting the affected part out and giving the good part a dip in Reef Primer. When you cut, make sure you cut at least 1/4" or more up from the base of the die-off. This will ensure you are not getting any of the effected tissue on that cut.

This isn't perfect but it's about the only option we have used that saved any RTN corals.
