I'm not sure what the problem is. Aquashella had probably over 5000+ in attendance but probably 75 to 80% of those are freshwater/reptile only people. We have some freshwater shows and those are very well attended. They have actually grown into a 2 day event. Other than the fact we are probably having too many shows, we also have a few big garage sellers that seem to sell a ton. There is one that posts almost weekly showing the 20+ boxes he is shipping out that week.

Not sure on the advertising part. The shows show up constantly on facebook for me in all the large reefing groups for the area. Of course I don't know if it is showing up for everyone or just me based on the fact I only look at reefing stuff on facebook.

The show I help with combined 3-4 small show names that were scheduled a few times a year. So we didn't just add to the schedule, we consolidated. But it is saltwater, freshwater, and reptiles.

Even worse, it has been windy some lately so it is like standing in front of a hair dryer. What makes it worse is at 1am it is still in the 90s.

It got down to around 10 degrees last December. It got to 0 the year before. That was enough winter for me!!!!

In Charlotte, it snows in the morning, we make snowmen, and then it melts by the afternoon. And it only does that 2-3 times during the winter.

We have been growing those here for ages too! We don't bring in a ton of wild hammers unless it is a wall variety for our show tank.

We rarely get snow, it is normally sleet. This past year my daughter was out a full week because of sleet.

I would think so since you have to cut thru flesh and that would increase bacterial infection chances.

It's harder I think because you do more damage to the flesh but it can be done. We typically don't mess with long-term propagation of wall hammers. I do like to inject a little bit of variety though for the show tank we have. It is getting to the point that you can't even see the rocks.

That’s one of the most unique hammer colors I have seen, coppertone is a great description! I’ll have to get one of those once I upgrade tanks.
