The more I hear about putting on a show that involves a convention hall the more I am like... oh heck no. Good on you guys for doing a big show.

Yeah rap Texas wasn't great last year. I left early too. But I was very pregnant. Orlando, New York and California seemed to be huge turnouts. We had the aquatic expo in Charlotte this year, and the venue hit capacity several times, and they had to stop letting people in. I think it really just matters where you are and how well it was advertised. .... and how inundated the people are with shows in the area. 8 seems like a lot.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Aquashella had probably over 5000+ in attendance but probably 75 to 80% of those are freshwater/reptile only people. We have some freshwater shows and those are very well attended. They have actually grown into a 2 day event. Other than the fact we are probably having too many shows, we also have a few big garage sellers that seem to sell a ton. There is one that posts almost weekly showing the 20+ boxes he is shipping out that week.

Not sure on the advertising part. The shows show up constantly on facebook for me in all the large reefing groups for the area. Of course I don't know if it is showing up for everyone or just me based on the fact I only look at reefing stuff on facebook.
