I'm looking to add 2 of the following wrasse into an established 250g:
Yellow
Ruby Head Fairy
Dusky

I have no other wrasse in the tank.

Would any two of these be compatible with each other?

Thanks all!
What are your other fish in the tank? Also why only 2?

Don’t know if I’ve shown this photo but enjoy my spelling mistake on my fish list - it’s now fixed by the way :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Even the “experts” (I’m definitely not an expert) get things mixed up sometimes!

Someone got to it before me....they do have an eightline flasher that I'm eyeballing though.
Well, you know our answer… what can go wrong?!

Spoke to my friend about getting a buddy for P. splendens, specifically to help him transition to eating pellets for medicating purposes. Any recommendations on fairies that would go well in an observation tank with the pencil wrasse?

My list of fairies of interest, ordered by what I think would go best, but let me know what you think!
C. rhomboidalis
C. exquisitus
C. isosceles
C. brunneus
C. bathyphilus
C. lubbocki
C. rubeus

Of those, I've seen an exquisite and an isosceles in the lists recently, so those might be likely picks. Any thoughts? Final stocking of the tank will include a foxface and possibly a CBB and/or a kole tang.

If you can, go for a rhomboids and/or isosceles. I’d say they’re the nicest on the list (albeit they’re all stunning species) and can be harder to get hold of generally.

I wanted one for my bad guys tank! If only it were bigger.... Jello can't leave that tank, so no more fish can enter.

I think they look so fat and cute!!!

Well, I ordered some fish online tonight. Had a local friend recently use this retailer with pretty good success, and they had some pretty good deals, as well as certain fish I've been looking for and couldn't find elsewhere.

Excited to have a pintail again, and for some of the other special fish on this list! Hopefully they all arrive nice and healthy!

The hooded flame will be the mildest mannered female. Hard to find lately though.

I pretty much assumed I'd only find males because that's all I ever see on the lists. I'll see what they have on Sunday!

Check with TSM. They used to get females. They had several large orders of fish come in. Better to email them with what you want rather than their website.
