(A1-A2) Paracheilinus amanda, new species;
(B) P. carpenteri, (C) P. flavianalis,
(D) P. mccoskeri, (E) P. rubricaudalis.
IMHO, The Amanda flasher is new species, but hardly more special than the more common flasher wrasses.

I hope he will color up for you. Any glimpse of him flashing? Some more Hemi spam!
The colours in this guy are stunning. I wonder if the streamers will begin as he’s young or if he’ll have to get a bit larger before they appear.
Not yet, hopefully soon though as he’s got the others in display.I hope he will color up for you. Any glimpse of him flashing?
I need that fish just because it has my name (Amanda)

Id much rather have a rubricaudalis or piscilineatus personally.

Sorry no offense intended. Just trying to educate. This is a nerd thread and what is a nerd but someone who gets very worked up about something that literally no one else cares/knows about?Take it easy on her, she's new!
Sorry Amanda, that's one of his biggest pet peeves. Call it a Chrysus.
Thanks Tim and no offense taken Slocke I appreciate the education.Take it easy on her, she's new!

@Slocke is one of my favorites! I knew he didn't mean any offense, I just like messing with him. Thanks Tim and no offense taken Slocke I appreciate the education.
Instead of Melanurus, go with a Halichoeres iridis. Instead of a Blue Star Leopard, go with a Macropharyngodon meleagris, and insteas of a Yellow NON Coris go with a Halichoeres leucoxanthus. I have not keep a Leucoxanthus yet but I will get a harem the first chance I have.Would these guys work in a 125 together?
Melanurus Wrasse
Blue Star Leopard Wrasse
Yellow Coris Wrasse
My Leucoxanthus just started transitioning last week. It's starting to get some greens and pinks in the cheeks. The belly is getting noticably whiter and brighter as well!
Disagree on the blue star. Mine is the image of beauty and grace.Instead of Melanurus, go with a Halichoeres iridis. These alternate species are either less aggressive, more beautiful or both.
Maybe you got a Red Sea one. Mine was the devil in cloak.Disagree on the blue star. Mine is the image of beauty and grace.
