Beautiful shot! Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of ordering an orange back, leopard and melenarus wrasse.
If I had a choice and wasn't reliant on availability and pricing on what I get when I get it, I love the Lubbock's fairy wrasse and the solorensis. Easily two of the best fish I've ever kept. Although my ruby longfin fairy (Cirrhilabrus rubeus) is really starting to grow on me. I got it mislabeled as a juvenile carpenter flasher wrasse, just plain dull red/orange but it's now starting to show it's male adult colors and the vivid blueish purple in the dorsal and tail fins against the bright red looks amazing.

You’re going to have to prove that.

You have pretty similar fish stock tank size and corals lol. And I've got the following, red long fin fairy wrasse, yellow coris wrasse, male leopard wrasse, melenarus wrasse, and six line wrasse all together with no issues at all. Here's the leopard, red fin, melenarus, and yellow coris all swimming together.
Love your C. rubeus! More pics?

Yep there he is, exactly what I was trying to capture, he only does that typically if a stranger comes up to the tank or if he's eaten a lot and looks like he's catching his breath
You need other fairy or flasher wrasse. Then it will show off more.

Right on, at this point I think it'll be too hard to get a fairy or flasher to join the group. With the melenarus, leopard, and six line they hold the group in check the ruby long fin is definitely the shyest and most calm but holds its own. Thankfully he was the first wrasse added otherwise don't think it would've lasted..

@OrionN recommended putting up a mirror occasionally for the fairy/flashers to get them colored up and displaying.

OK thanks I think Eric has an incorrect pic for the Joanallenae which was a little confusing. I think both pics are actually Naokos like mine below being they both have the yellow stripe.

Fish are like people with personalities, but I've not had a problem adding wrasses (and never really had one). My sixline is close to 10, followed by melanurus and have never caused a problem. I had a cleaner that was close to 10 and died. As I remodeled my tank, I started wrassing up and no issues. In the past couple months, I added a lubbocki, blue flasher, coris, naoko, pintail and will likely add at least a few more flashers or fairies. Still at least want to replace my cleaner and a ruby. The rest of the tank is 5 dwarf angels, a couple tangs, 4 resplendent anthias, 2 sapphire damsels, royal gramma, and a couple clowns. The angels are usually the problem children.

I’m jealous! I found one for about a third of the price of a nice large supermale and didn’t take it (instead I took 2 adorable Okinawae gobies). Hopefully it’s worth it and I get a choati soon.
