Wrasse out of qt and acclimation box.
None of the fish cared about the wrasse in the box but once released my Carpenter was flashing like mad for an hour or so. No nipping though and now its all calm.

Is it possibly a Green Bird Wrasse?I’ve got another wrasse. Hint it’s blue but will become big and green.
But also….. How much were people paying for their pintails?
NopeIs it possibly a Green Bird Wrasse?
I thought it may have been a Thalassoma species, Thalassoma lunare?Hiding beneath the tub of sand
I think I said but when choosing my Thalassoma I got it down to lunare, lutescens and lucasanum. Lucasanum looks much prettier in real life then it does in photos. Really pretty and unique. However I've only ever seen a couple and both near full size. They seemed peaceful at the LFS but thats all I have seen. My LFS has a full size lunare in its big tank and I've never seen that be aggressive either but then that tank is mostly full of big beasts. I imagine for a Thal the lucas is relatively peaceful but no idea. Also out of curiosity, how nasty is Thalssoma lucasanum? It seems it’s one of the smallest of the genus only getting to 4” so I wonder if it’s a species that’s less likely to kill/terrorise every other wrasse.
Nope6-foot 180g tank with an Ornate Leopard, Exquisite, Melanarus, and Radiant….ok to add a Scott’s?
Why do the pretty ones have to be such jerks??Nope
Get a more peaceful fairy. Almost any will do but Scott’s are notorious.
