i can get you a pic of the rockies! they are obviously better than this crap. (oh stupid Alaska, how do i compete with this?!) but we do have some of the second best views!

Alaska is really pretty, but i couldnt live up there because of the hole lights at 10pm deal. what city in Alaska do you live in?

We're down in the vicinity of Homer, AK - in June it'll be essentially light from 3 am to 1 am, with a little twilight in the middle.

The extra light wouldn’t be my issue… the lack thereof would drive me insane on top of the cold. Indiana winters already push me to the brink each year.

The prescription for winter is a 102 degree hot tub, while you wait for northern lights you can just count the satellites flying overhead and root for them to run into each other. Plus, great view of the Milky Way..
