I did tape, but it wasn't pressed down fully there and dripped under. <shrug>. It is what it is. Fortunately, nobody will see it, not even me. I'll known it's there, but I won't tell if you don't tell.
Tell what?

Good morning, Team Styx. The new lighting has been hung, and I am in love with the look! <slaps tie-downs> "This baby ain't going nowhere!" Compared to the canopy, it is so much more airy, and actually makes the tank look bigger. Go figure. For bulbs, I went with all KZ: two (2) Super Blues, One (1) Fiji Purple, and one (1) 2nd Gen Coral Light. I'll dial in the intensity and spectrum on the K7's to meet par needs and a pleasing aesthetic. Anyways, here are some pics to peruse while I start working on dismantling the old controller cabinet and getting everything wired into the new one. This is going to be an all day affair. Also, yes @crusso1993 I know I am going to have to adjust the height on my turtle paintings...

Yeah. And I hate them! My DIY nets lids got mangled. I'm going to order custom polycarbonate and net lids from OctoAquatics in May (my aquarium budget for April is already spoken for). They just need to hang on a little longer.

There is another custom lids place that have beautiful lids. I think they’re out of FL. I cannot recall their name. They might make them for nanos and picos only though. I cannot recall. I might have bookmarked them. I cannot seem to recall that either. Looks like a theme developing.

If you're on Facebook, look up SARK (Saltwater Aquarium Reef Keepers I think) group. One or two of their sponsors are custom lid companies.

I’ve never been a fan of the canopies.

Yeah, but I've done business with Octoaquatics before, and @cromag27 Is a straight shooter. Plus, the quality of his products is unsurpassed, IMO.

Familiar with him, his company and products through many that have bought from him.

Here’s that other place. I was half right. They do nano tanks. The wrong half is that they’re in AZ.

Gotcha. Given that I am mounting them in the hybrid fixture, I'm actually more concerned about bleed from the T5's, as opposed to the K7's. Who knows though. I'll see what it is once I fire them up, and will adjust accordingly. If I do get shades for the K7's, I'll go with black. We'll know later on this afternoon/ evening, so stand by @Projects with Sam
now that I think about it the T5s hitting the shades would be more distracting then the bare bulbs.
everything else in my catalog you can probably print on your resin printer.
I've always been interested in the resin (for the fine detail and truly clear parts) but don't want all those chemicals in my hose with my kiddos... also the cleanup seems daunting to me.
Have you arrived at a chemical soup that is aquarium safe?

Believe it or not, I haven't printed anything for the aquarium yet. I use my printers (Anycubic) for my miniatures painting.

How do you like those Anycubic? I was looking at them and joined the Facebook group but there's a LOT of people that have issues within a week or two it seems. I know it's probably the same with any printer out there i just seem to see a lot with the Anycubic. But hey, just like reef tanks everyone has already tried everything and their parameters are perfect.

I had some difficulty getting them set up, otherwise nothing too bad.

I'm actually going to use this in black to sleeve the cable bundle coming off the fixture.
You just had to know I could let the black comment slide by...
