Thank you again you won't be disappointed with the lights!New fixture assembled and everything wired in. These @noopsyche K7 pro's look slick AF mounted in the hybrid fixture. Thanks again, @Zach B for the impeccable customer service. Can't wait to show these bad boys off!
Thank you! Also, welcome aboard and thanks for following!Nice build
For the suspension? I got the decorative covers for the caps and am going with nickel (colored) steel cable. For 3D printer? Mine is UV resin, so can't use filament. Thanks for the offer, unless you were being facetious... I can never really tell. lol. I may, however, pick your brain about shades if I encounter too much light bleed.I can send you a sample of the orange filament I have if you want to color-match. ;D The lights look sweet!
That would suuuuuuuuuckBye bye, canopy! Now I have to, very delicately, remove the old struts from the back of the tank. Fingers crossed that I don't blow out the glass...
Yeah, tank failure is one of my biggest fears. That would suuuuuuuuuck
I think he may have been referring to the light shades he makes for the K7s.For the suspension? I got the decorative covers for the caps and am going with nickel (colored) steel cable. Gotcha. Given that I am mounting them in the hybrid fixture, I'm actually more concerned about bleed from the T5's, as opposed to the K7's. Who knows though. I'll see what it is once I fire them up, and will adjust accordingly. If I do get shades for the K7's, I'll go with black. We'll know later on this afternoon/ evening, so stand by @Projects with SamI think he may have been referring to the light shades he makes for the K7s.
T5’s have bleed? Never noticed…Gotcha. Given that I am mounting them in the hybrid fixture, I'm actually more concerned about bleed from the T5's, as opposed to the K7's. Who knows though. I did tape, but it wasn't pressed down fully there and dripped under. <shrug>. It is what it is. Fortunately, nobody will see it, not even me. I'll known it's there, but I won't tell if you don't tell.T5’s have bleed? Never noticed…
Speaking of bleed: we’ll let you slide on the orange bleed on the underside of your hybrid fixture. For future reference, tape is your friend when spraying.
