Since evicting Dum-Dum the filefish from the tank, I have had an explosion in aiptasia. Gonna mix up a kalk slurry and go on a kill crazy rampage...

Anyone have any practical experience with the Majano Wand, or the new(ish) lasers? Both seem like they'd be good for the hard to reach buggers, but I would like some honest feedback before I invest in them.

I borrowed a majano wand - it was not easy to use, by the time I got it into the correct position (esp for the hard to reach ones) they'd retract way into rock crevices so I couldn't get them anyway.

I have a copper band in every tank but one. Zero aiptasia and they are such cool fish.

I've been considering trying again with a CB. I couldn't get the last one to eat, but I'm looking at this product to aid the process.

I’ve had great luck getting them to eat in QT. All 6 of mine have gone for PE Mysis … I melt it in tank water first. Keep the flow on and put a few shrimp in. Once they are eating well with the flow off also I move them to a tank. They do much better competing for food with other fish with the flow off. Eventually they eat Spirulina brine shrimp also. I’ve never had luck with any other food to start off with.

I just ordered the CBB feeder from @Printed Reef . I have a bead on a few that are already eating, so will likely be adding the fish soon.

Good morning, Heathens, and happy Saturday!

Dropped another order last night for a few gorgeous pieces with @Coral Love for Wednesday delivery!

All said and done, we have about 25 pieces arriving next week, and then have our club's frag swap on Saturday.

I'm planning an order for an additional 9 pieces with @Epic Aquaculture around the 15th, too. All in all, 2024 is off to a good start, and February is shaping up to be an outstanding month in The House of Orange!

Stay tuned!!

Got lots of coral coming in buddy! That’s awesome. @Coral Love has some nice pieces as well.
It’s like we are on the same wave length, as I was just talking to him las week about ordering a few things from him. I’m excited to see your new stuff!

Corey
Likewise!! Great minds and all that...

Epic has some nice stuff for really good prices. I've bought from him in person a couple of times.
Yup. I've ordered from them in the past based on your reccomendation, and I totally agree: great stuff at reasonable prices. Bill provides really good communication and customer service, too!

I had to drive the inlaws to the airport earlier and stopped off at a local shop on my way home where I scored a nice elegance coral. It's acclimated and in the tank but mostly closed up, so pics will wait until tomorrow.
