I absolutely hated sleep training during, but it was great once it was over. Hopefully your kid is less stubborn than both mine were. :zany-face:
Wife is having a hard time getting him down without nursing. We're rocking to sleep now, and takes me 10-15 minutes till I'm out of the room. I count that as fairly good for night 2. Want it down to 5 though. Next week just singing to sleep. Then bounce while awake.

Good morning, Heathens!

As I sit and observe the tank this morning I can see that the Anthias is transitioning rapidly. As it does, it is becoming clear to me why the female transitioned. It is a different morph / species of Lyretail. The vendor must have sent me an Indian Ocean male and Fiji / South Pacific females. It is much more purple. This may also explain why there isn't aggression between the two males as of yet, but that may also be attributed to an incomplete transition. I'm by no means an expert, so I'm just spitballing here. The two remaining females have split up now, too, with one following Iceberg Slim and the other trailing behind the interloper.

Still no sign of Wrassputin yet.

The zebra barred gobies no longer dart in and out of the rockwork. Instead, they just hang around at the surface in a group once they wake up. Cool to watch, but not exactly the movement I wanted.

Looks like @Mschmidt will be getting the less colorful male. Once Iceberg Slim is rehomed, I'll need to a) pick a new pimp name for the interloper; and b) add some more females to his harem.

I'm alright with the less colorful one. May find some females for him. May leave him solo as the tank is almost full.

Same in MD. F'n freezing out. Where in VA are you?
Just visiting family in Smithfield. Was on an overnighter in Richmond. Sometimes up in Fairfax visiting my brother or my old haunts in Bethesda/Silver Spring. I've been in the tropics and in SoCal too long--this cold don't work for me anymore!

Next time you are in Richmond, if you like pastries, go to Sub Rosa bakery. By far some of the best food I have ever had! Can’t go wrong with anything on their menu
