Brace yourself, @crusso1993 will be back later with more "input".
It's later and I'm back. Longish day. Not sure I'll be reading any more of the thread tonight before getting through all my notifications.

Why, use Styx's Sand Bed Sifter 3000, of course!

Yeah, but does it include a set of steak knives and a BOGOF, just pay shipping and handling?

@Fish Styx please go back and read post #293. Then try to explain to us how your brain works. Thank you.

Edit - please go back to post #365 and explain the same thing about your brain. Or are you drinking?

You must also be pretty tough because, you know, if you're going to be stupid you better be tough!

I leave for 1 afternoon and I had 7 pages to catch up on :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

The storm was a dud! Which is good, but borrrinnngg. But I like the no power loss thing, always an argument between using the generator for the aquarium or everything else in the house :grimacing-face:

We had a 36 hour power loss at the old house last year (luckily before my tank was setup), storm dropped 100+ mph winds in sub 0 temps for a few days. Blew the roof off the local grocery then froze the pipes = sideways icicles. This car was loading groceries when the pipe burst, froze in place in seconds. NO SOUP FO U! The local airport put a post on FB requesting all free trucks be brought down to tie planes to. Cessnas were taking off while parked..

No thanks can't deal with the cold anymore lived in Colorado for a long time, I live in AZ for a reason, not to mention 3 Reef stores all within 5 miles from my home!

So I recently started to deal with a Aiptasia Out break, did all the normal stuff you read about, Aiptasia X, Lemon Juice, Hot Water tried all that crap. Nothing seemed to work just more spread out, so I picked up a File Fish this last weekend, wish me luck not sure if it will work or just munch on my corals. Crazy thing is I have owned 7 Reef Tanks in the last 20+ years and never really had a issue with Aiptasia, the OCD in me is going crazy.:face-with-spiral-eyes:

Peppermint shrimp did the trick for me.. granted I only had a few and they were small. Just a thought if the file fish fails…. alliteration aside ;)

My fingers are crossed. Nuke as many as you can with a kalk slurry when they pop up. It will be a battle of wills, really. My fingers are crossed that your filefish develops a taste for them. They can be hit or miss, though. You may want to consider Berghia, but they are pricey.

That alliteration was intentional, you poet.

Alright, you animals! I have to shuttle The Dainty Dictator to a few post-op appointments today, but I should post my "schematics" for the new controller cabinet later on this evening. I welcome any and all critique / input. See you all later!

Namaste.

Berghia will get eaten by my Yellow coris wrasse, peppermint shrimp is another option.
