You obviously read up on these rare animals, I used my kids college fund to buy it, I think it was worth every penny.
A much better investment, indeed.

With inflation these days be worth a fortune down the road :p
Just like those old decorative John Wayne plates ordered from The Franklin Mint. Their value is only expected to increase with time.

Why, use Styx's Sand Bed Sifter 3000, of course!

I leave for 1 afternoon and I had 7 pages to catch up on :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Hey @907_Reefer I forgot to ask, how'd you make out with the storms? Any power loss?

The storm was a dud! Which is good, but borrrinnngg. But I like the no power loss thing, always an argument between using the generator for the aquarium or everything else in the house :grimacing-face:

We had a 36 hour power loss at the old house last year (luckily before my tank was setup), storm dropped 100+ mph winds in sub 0 temps for a few days. Blew the roof off the local grocery then froze the pipes = sideways icicles. This car was loading groceries when the pipe burst, froze in place in seconds. NO SOUP FO U! The local airport put a post on FB requesting all free trucks be brought down to tie planes to. Cessnas were taking off while parked..

yo styx do you use engineer gobies for your sand?
Historically, yes. I built my scape with them in mind. However, I need to find some that are in transition (around 3.5 -4"). I added two, and within minutes, my flame cardinal darted out from under his cave and nommed one of them and "Big Momma", my female Sebae Clown, grabbed the other and fed it to her nem. Pricey meal.
