I may have to go dark for a few days. During this morning's shenanigans, I've been in the ER at the VA. My entire left hand swelled over night and it would appear I have an aggressive infection

Can't at the moment. I'm currently in the emergency room being seen for a very aggressive infection in my left hand / arm. I woke up at 6 this morning in excruciating pain, and my index finger was swollen. It has since spread and my whole hand is swollen. Just got seen by ortho / hand surgery and had film done. They did a full set of labs to include cultures and I'm currently waiting on infectious diseases to come down. They're about to hang a cocktail of IV antibiotics. I May need surgery. Will definitely be admitted. ***

So you'll have to settle for my ugly mug.

"Soon" is definitely anywhere from 1-8 hours == definitely 8 hours. I came back from Mozambique during the swine flu pandemic way back when and they quarantined me while getting test results--it was either swine flu or malaria. Results coming "soon". 8 hours later, it's swine flu. The swine flu test was like 30 min, but the malaria test they had to wait for someone to come in to read the blood smear slides (negative). SMH.
