Okay, I think I’ve managed it… the perfect specimen of a Siganus magnificus!
Hes got the yellow fins, orange in the caudal and a gorgeous pale pink patch below his black square.

My Fiji is alright. He's almost always faded/pale black in between camo and full color. Occasionally he goes into the pure black with bright yellow tail. When he goes black and shows his spines, the pink really cuts through!

3 new corals entered this tank this week!
1. Yellow Goni

2. Plasma Torch (although it does look like a normal 24K at the moment).

I love this… Who would’ve thought torch names could cause arguments?!

I just got into a small disagreement over what this Torch is called.

Apparently it’s the Dragon Soul and not a Hellfire, yet I always knew it to be the opposite.

Absolutely! I’m hoping my torch garden grows into a mess of colour over time, same with the hammer garden.

Welcome to the wonderful world of reefing. Apparently we're all a bunch of jerks that just like to argue.

I don't think they're referred to as gardens. Torches are supposed to be islands. Zoas are gardens. Nomenclature sir, nomenclature!

And of course I'm joking. Although I'm not wrong. Prove me wrong?

Yep! You have to agree though, ever so often a good debate is absolutely worth it to get rid of steam.

Torch Island? That could work, although it’s not exactly isolated like normally.

It’s my reef and I’ll call it what I like sir! Like maybe “a gaggle of Gonis”;)

Oh absolutely! Think I need a gaggle of gonis in this system. I mean I’m in love with my huge colony in my nano!

It’s been a bit dead here but here’s the most “exciting” thing happening. Today I’m taking this boy to my LFS so he can have a whole 8’ tank to himself.
IMG_0774.jpeg

And before you ask, I got him out yesterday. I was not messing around after finding a wrasse’s spine (I’m hoping it was the other leopard and not the 2 pencils).
It was sealed he would be coming out when I found out an LFS I trust used to have them in their tanks until they destroyed clams. So this guy will be going into a tank where clams are not going to be present. But dang he is stunning even in his feistier age.

Well, the Jade is gone and you know today I got a couple more wrasses!! A gorgeous Macropharyngodon female and a stunning Cirrhilabrus species! One is on the redder side and the other is much more blue/purple.

I can’t wait to see them in the tank and get a photo of them whilst floating.

Welcome home! A gorgeous Laboute’s Fairy Wrasse - I’m now going to go try find a female for him as they are stunning when ‘paired’.
IMG_0963.jpeg

And a female Kuiter’s Leopard!
IMG_0961.jpeg

Plus some wrasses I don’t show much but definitely should! My Diamond Tail Male was all out displaying today and my Carpenter’s is looking stunning.
