@MERKEY

Here ya go. Hydra 32s at 100% all channels. (Feed mode aka Pic Mode lol. Never understood why you would need to adjust light to feed the fish lol)

Also the second pic is one that I have had for about 6 months. Was one from a tank where it was about dead, only 1 head and was not able to ID it. Just know it is a torch lol. It now has 6 heads.

Excuse the stuff in the water. Everything just got fed lol. If needed, I can try and find a filter to take a pic of them, but I have no idea where it is lol. I think I have a piece of orange film I may be able to use lol.

After having it up for a few months, would you go the black sand route again for the macro tank?

I'm thinking I may go that direction for the new fuge
Darn right I would. The biocube is BB right now and is about to get some "black sand" added to it later. I just need to scoop some out of the 150 gallon tub that all the sand from the macro tank is in. Yes I kept it and yes it is still alive. I have my mangroves and spare rock in the tub in the garage (temp controlled). Rubbermaid tubs do not take up that much space and hold a ton lol.

Here is the link to what I use. I use the medium grit and just give it a good wash. 0 issues over the years, ICP test have showed nothing different from any of my other tanks, so haters can hate lol.

$11.99 locally for 50lbs. Comes to about 48 lbs after washing. Great thing about it, the "beads" are rounded, so all sand sifting critters have 0 issues with it.

Speaking of Biocube.

Added the 10 Atlantic Astrea Snails and the 10 Mexican Turbo Snails last night.

75% of gha on the GSP is gone. There are a few long strands here and there that I need to manually remove, but not bad for the short time they have been in there. Once they get it way down, will throw some in the 180 sump so they stay alive lol.

And some of the NPS nems, just cause.

May steal this idea.
Not stealing if you have permission lol.

At one point, I had acros in there. They were not that super blue pop stuff, but looked exactly like what you would see when diving.

I have to look up the rules and regs for pulling stuff in Bermuda. Doing a week on a livaboard in October.

Not allowed and will not get back through customs. Need to have your own cites permit to do that.

Now, if you can collect in FL, it is just a fishing license for small qty of approved corals and a gallon of macros.

Random photo dump, as took a few pics when going to get more coffee.

New haddoni has moved a few inches over and is snuggled up to the tank bred haddoni. Torches are looking good and may get moved tyo final location today. mini maxi nems are just chilling.

You can also see some of the new FL zoas, as I added them to the tank last night. They bleached out a little in QT, as they always do from the collection, trip and such, but will color back up in now time.

@Smirkish I just want to say, you are awesome. I am not going to mention the post or mention what it was about, but very well done and very well worded.

I also see where Lil Schitt gets it from lol.

Keep keeping it real, we got your back.

Lil Schitt has your back as well.
