I dont remember what all they are. I was told that there is really no time limit to do sps as long as the tank is stable. I have a dosing pump and alk and calcium dont vary from day to day. I dont know what is but I give up on them.

I'm guessing the age of the tank may be a factor as well. When I first started SPS, I tried early on like you only to have them die on me. Never changed a thing in my tank, even the parameters, and once the tank got over the 1yr mark, they started doing gradually better and better. Also, what kind of flow do you have going on? And have you checked at night for polyp extension?

Is it just today that you noticed? Maybe giving them sometime. I can't tell you how many bumps in the road I've had with my Tri color when I first started SPS but it's still kicking and one of my favorites.

I sold him a Cali tort and a hypnotic digitata last week.

Encrusting is when they start to grow out at the base and start covering the rock or frag plug they are on as opposed to growing vertically.
