Nothing. And it was everything that I thought it could be. :)

Actually I'm just letting stuff stabilize again. After going fallow for 72 days I was a bit concerned about how cycled the rock was so I'm not really doing anything for a month or so to let the biological filter get built back up.

I picked up 5 chromis from Chris Reed as he's breaking down. They're in QT for a couple more weeks and then they'll be the first real additions to the tank. After that, nothing else until I see the results of the pellets kicking back in to cycle. Once the pellets are live, I'm adding the 2 fish that my kids want. My daughter has picked a Coral Beauty and my son is still deciding. Fingers crossed that I can keep the CB from munching on corals, but they tend to go after LPS and softies, and I don't really have any except a few mushrooms.

Added a few more to the cuc but nothing besides that. Just cleaning the ps. Tank is on cruise controll for awhile to let things get really stable before adding an aneome. Ordering a full scale crew tomorrow.

I finally tested for the first time in months last week. My parameters were spot on.... Which has me baffled since I havent adjusted my 2 part dosing in 8 months and some of my acros are double the size. I would think that the demand would be higher, but maybe the kalk stirrer is keeping it in range. Hey, Im not complaining, just scratching my head a bit.

What are you considering "spot on" these days?

Better get that magnesium up or you'll never be able to balance your levels, I'm sure you already know that though.

Tested cal,alk and mag. 400 cal 9.0 alk 1320 mag. This numbers are balance but I'm gonna strive to get natural sea water levels so I'm bringing the calcium up a bit to match it to 9.0 alk then I'm gonna let then come down on their own till I get in the mid 7's on alk

Bought a 2 bulb retro to go with my 4 bulb retro.
Took the DIY leds out and left my original t5s. Now i have 6 bulb t5 setup, liking the change so far.

Changed salt brands to seachem, was using redsea pro but too pricey and left residue. Going to try seachem out, making my first water change tonight with it.

Changed out my RODI filters.

Putting a fish order in to get my bioload up.

Been a busy weekend!
