Oh wow. Let's see...

- Changed out the Mag 7 for a Mag 12. It's an interim pump, until I move over to DC. I'll end up using the Mag 12 in my water change station.

- Picked up a 6 bulb T5 fixture, hung it from the ceiling and bleached a birdsnest the first day :p

- Added an eibli tang that I've been overfeeding like mad to get him fat and happy

- Added a few mL of EcoBak to combat the phosphates from overfeeding

- Did my first water change after 3 weeks. But really only because I pulled a few gallons out to set up a QT and not because I actually needed a water change

- Something in that water caused my skimmer to go insane for about 3 hours. So that was fun...

I just go to the Atlantic and collect it as I don't live far. I was just there today but I didn't bring buckets. Nothing like real water.

I've had a fairly productive weekend. Got my EB8 mounted and programmed. Switched some things around. Got my auto water changes going again. Automated my RODI. Put another coat of Kilz on the inside of my canopy (if I could JUST get my wife to decide on how she wants to finish it already, I'd be able to USE it!!!). Cleaned the skimmer. And I've stil got more to do today... may start on a router table so I can do custom trim for the rest of the canopy and the stand. :)

Thank you, sir. Much, much more to go. :)

Finally got my Hanna Alk checker on Black Friday, so I checked my alk the other day. 6.7 Not so good. Gonna have to start dosing or grab a calcium reactor, not sure which yet. Doing automatic water changes every day will help a little, but I doubt much.

Coralife. Its actually a really great salt that doesn't get enough credit. It came out on top in the salt mix analysis thing a few years back, plus the bags have zip locs on them. :)

I was actually just thinking a kalk drip (or pour... ha!) may be a great (and inexpensive) idea for the time being. I think I'll set one up today. I mostly have softies, with the exception of a few acans and a birdsnest... but I think it may be all of these snails that are sucking the Ca and Alk up... heh

Filed a report with the tang police. Got rid of my cinnamon clowns, replaced them with platinum clowns. Added a blue hippo tang. Stopped doing water changes and my cyano went away, color in my poker stars montipora came back. Added a purple tang this weekend.
