Small white worm with black head appeared poking out of rock

My fish started dying yesterday and I found two of these worms that look like small snouts coming out of the rock.

Not sure if the fish crisis is related to this hitchhiker, could've been due to some "herbal ich treatment" I bought from Petco (huge mistake, I know).

Sorry, sounds like your fish are dying from ich. WOrms don't have anything to do with it.
