Hi everyone I have always found it hard to have a perfect balance of flow throughout the tank, I have 3 MP40 QD I am currently only using 2 one on each side of the tank, could someone with some more experience than me maybe share some advice on how I could get optimal flow. Where is the best locations to put the pumps at, should I use 2-3 pumps, maybe some input on the settings aswell.
The tank is a WaterBox 180.5
Here are 2 pictures of each side so you can see how I have my scape.

Personally, I like what you have done. The internal flow pattern will change as your corals grow, which is fine as well.

should I add the third pump or not?
Here is my daily settings, should I change the settings? Both pumps have identical schedules and they are not linked so they do their own thing.
should I use the mode child on one of them?
If so I haven’t understood yet the %, if I put it in 50% is the pump at 50% power or is it at 50% power from the pump it’s copying?

I run mine on the sides also about 3 inches below the water line and in the middle of the side glass. You want them set to anti sync.

Flow intensity depends on your coral choices. Generally 20x to 40x turnover rate. 20x for softs and LPS and 40x if SPS dominant tank.
