What additional power head would suit me best?

Can someone help me think this through?
I have a Red Sea 350 and I want to get an additional power head… I currently have one that moves plenty of water in the tank, however it really only moves water in one direction. I’d like to put something on the opposite side so I can have some variety and change the direction of flow throughout the day.
It’s still a relatively new tank. Couple easy corals in there. Ultimately it will be a mixed reef. I’d love to keep some acros at the top once I achieve a little more tank maturity.

Here are my thoughts so far…

I’m considering 3 options…
1) an MP40
PROS: can offer a different style of flow than the gyre pump can do.
CONS: cost, and will require a different app.. won’t “sync” up with my reef wave 45 I already have in the tank.

2) a Nero 5
PROS: cheaper than MP40, but will accomplish what the MP40 would do.
CONS: same negatives as MP40… won’t run in tandem with reefwave

3) another reefwave (probably the smaller one)
CONS: still a narrow beam of high flow. Flow is concentrated so don’t want it pointed directly at corals. Will create good current in the tank but no variety compared to existing current patterns in tank. Just the change of direction.
PROS: can sync with existing wave maker and can utilize the same app to switch direction of current as much as I want.

Anyone have a similar size tank care to share their solutions?
See photo of what I’m working with currently.

Same on the left, on/off or Random current flows, Jebaos all do that well if cost is an issue, othwise just another of same.

If you are set on MP40 style pumps, look into new Jebao dmp pumps also (same as mps, but much cheaper)

PS: I don't want to argue about patents and copyrights. Just giving a fellow reefer another option to consider.

I’m not super concerned about price, but I also don’t feel the need to pay for an MP40 if it’s not the best suited pump for my tank.

Right now I’m leaning towards getting another reef wave… going to think on it for a few days.
