Hi Reefers, I am a new to reefing and getting wavemakers on my tank. I have 100 Gallon Tank (3*2*2 feet). I have a COR 20 for return that is helping flow from back to front of the tank.

I plan to add 2 Wavemakers to the left hand glass panel to add perpendicular flow. I want the front and right hand panel completely free of obstruction and equipment.

Based on these requirements, what wavemakers would be ideal ?

2* Reef Octo Pulse 2

Or the Bigger Pulse 4 ?

Other suggestions welcome as well, not buying Mp40 as they are out of budget and Mp10 won’t suit my tank glass.
Thanks

Keep in mind with that kind of flow, you get a one way linear flow which inadvertently creates several dead flow spots which can collect detritus and grow algae.

Powerheads on the opposite side will allow for the flow to bounce off each other and create random flow patterns, this is ideal and what we usually try to replicate.
