I have 2-1" seas swirls. I'm in the process of building a custom waterbox and the euro bracing is very large. It would put the output of the sea swirls about 5-6 inches towards the center of the tank. Is there something I'm missing? Are people having holes drilled in the euro brace for this? My original plan was to mount them facing the corals from the front with a couple of rfg's. Each swirl would cover half the tank. Any ideas?

I just ordered 4 Sea Swirls from Ed. He custom makes a bracket for the sea swirls to fit your euro brace. We are waiting for my tank to be delivered so I can get him the exact specs. I’d reach out to Ed.

First - Ed is great! Second, thank you for answering as I was also going to say this. When we place the order there is a drop down mounting option. The Euro brace mount is extra but not much. I have them for my pair that I use.

I have the braces. It still places the down pipe from the sea swirl 5+ inches into the dt. I think i am having holes drilled in my eurobrace 2.5” in to drop in the sea swirl. I’m also going to put in a 90 splitter and 2 1” rfgs. The 2 swirls should hit the entie tank.

What are the dimensions to your tank?

OP mentioned Sea Swirls. These are the sweeps that you attatch a powerhead to. My euro bracing is 3". I run 2 on a 60×30×21 system.
Sea swirls attatch to your returns.
