Dropped about 20 Astrea snail's in last night to work the diatoms. They put a small dent into it already.

Tomorrow we get serious with microfauna. Thinking of adding an inch of sand to the fuge in support of these creatures.

It was their mix n match special where you pick 9 items from a group then add on from additonal selections ala carte style. They tossed in a leather for free.

 

[Scurvy]

The mud is taken deep from tidal flats, the activator is bacteria strains and the coraline booster is a couple of 3” hunks of coraline you wedge into your rocks for propogation. Plus the bugs and amphipods thatll come as ordered amd whatevers also in the mud/sand.
Its intriguing to see what it may do for a mostly dry rock build.

I had great success with IPSF.com. I got Spaghetti Worms, Amphipods, Bristle Worms and Mini Stars. They threw in an extra bag of pods and the Toadstool Leather for free. I would have never bought a Toadstool Leather but it turned out to be one of the family’s favorite corals. They have some good videos of several of their products on YouTube.
