How do you kill montis or cut them back?

My best efforts were with bone cutters chipping and scraping them off and removing the pieces, but you have to get it all or it will grow right back. And inevitably you loose a few small pieces there you have it growing in a bunch of new places. I like montis but they can be a pain

@billyocean i had to cut off my dosing pump for now. Apparently 2.4 ml a day is too much lol. Alk went from 7.8 to 9.3 over the last week. I think I’m just going to leave it like that and turn it back on when my SBB order comes in though. 18 hungry acros incoming.

I just got done watching a comparison video between the 2 phones. They are very close but it looks like Samsungs S23 has a much better zoom lens which could be a decision maker for some people. I’m way too tied up in apple products to switch over at this point. They’re both great devices though. Heck I’m using an iPhone 10 and still getting pretty good shots with that orphek lens kit. I do want to upgrade now though just to have a bit of a better camera I think.

Love the bounce mushroom. I haven’t been able to find one at an lfs. Do they come up in SBB sales? Like normal ones, I ain’t ballin outta control buying a $3k mushroom.

I’ve got a Superman and a JF Rainbow that have grow to within a 1 1/2” of each other. Figure another month or so, it will be time to see who wins the real estate battle. Just hope they don’t try to kill each other.

@SBB Corals had some bouncy shrooms in past sales. I believe I got a neptune bounce and some "no name" bounce from them before... I've been trying to get Shane to get some ecluctus and jawbreakers in the mix for us (me. Mostly for me).

I’ve been on a hunt for one. I’ve found some at one lfs but the tank looked dirty and didn’t want the headache. I know if SBB sold it I would have any issues.

Maybe I’ll message Shane and see if he has one that hasn’t been listed.

Ypu can play with the last 3 settings depending on your light mode..my light is all blue and I use an orange filter.

And I use the manual focus option

I didnt take a monti only pic... but if you look closely in the pics I posted you can see the encrusting. Funny, you can see it over the course of time within my pictures... it slowly took it over lol.
