I love Montis. The assortment of colors they can come in is only surpassed by Acros in my opinion. I’ve got a Forest Fire Digi, Bubblegum, and a smattering of others in my main display.

I agree. I’m happy to take $20 Montis. This basic green SBB one impresses me regularly still.

Just took that. Lighting is a little weird for some reason. Looks a lot brighter in person.

I just got done watching a comparison video between the 2 phones. They are very close but it looks like Samsungs S23 has a much better zoom lens which could be a decision maker for some people. I’m way too tied up in apple products to switch over at this point. They’re both great devices though. Heck I’m using an iPhone 10 and still getting pretty good shots with that orphek lens kit. I do want to upgrade now though just to have a bit of a better camera I think.


This is my IPhone X with orphek orange and macro lens.

The cameras are close enough in respect to each other...the pro mode is what sets the galaxy apart. If iPhone could come up with an equivalent it would be nice. They have some apps but nothing is nearly as good.

Hey I just lost my red too. It never really settled into my tank while my green is loving life in here.

OMG! I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!! I hadn't seen our engineer goby we've had gotten in about 3 weeks. One day he was just gone. I always kept looking and looking. Never saw him. Figured something happened and the CUC made quick work of him since he was still a baby. Only about 2-3". Well I was just looking around again and saw a tunnel under our Tree rock in the center. Just kind of watched it for a minute, and wouldn't you know who poked their head out! FALKOR! Our Engineer goby, still going strong, and has grown A LOT!!! So awesome! So glad he's still in there and just been chillin in his new home!

Oh, and also remembered I had our Sicce 4.0 turned all the way down, so I turned it all the way up, and that's helped a lot increasing the flow in the tank I think we're starting to get his down!

I’ve got a Superman and a JF Rainbow that have grow to within a 1 1/2” of each other. Figure another month or so, it will be time to see who wins the real estate battle. Just hope they don’t try to kill each other.

Putty. Reef Dork on YouTube did a video of a huge colony he had been fighting back and the eventually "trying to remove it".

I would imagine you can just break a piece off and it will heal over. All I know is that both of my Montis broke into a couple of pieces while pulling off plug but I just kind of glued them back together and it was healed back into one pretty quick.

One of my encrusting ones ran out of real estate and now it’s flaring out like a capping Monti. May be fragging time soon.
