also wanted to give you a shout out @billyocean . One treatment of coral snow 2 days ago and today is the first day I came home and didn’t have to scrape a thin haze of algae off of absolutely everything. Just a very small amount today. Got some repeat hair algae gathering spots but it’s getting better. I would spend 30 minutes everyday hitting everything with a toothbrush and baster and have it looking beautiful, then the next day I would get home and it would look terrible again. Going to do another snow treatment tonight and make it part of my routine for sure.

I ended up lowering my alk dose after..I think because there were things consuming alk that were no longer consuming it. Wasn't much but something other than my "coral" was consuming and the snow helped.

Maybe I have to give this coral snow a go. It's something I haven't tried at all. I rarely clean the glass though, it looks slightly messy, but only in close up photos. Snails take care of about 80% of it.
