Sand and super glue is how i built all my structures. Broke them apart with hammers and built it all up how i wanted. Pour a little super glue on the joint, pour sand over it and then do a second round of glue/sand and its hard as mortar. You can add real mortar on top if you want too once its dried and holding shapeSo I got my Caribsea Rock in and luckily only one rock was broken. I was thinking I could just use a whole bottle of super glue gel to repair it before I use it. What have y’all used to adhere rocks together best?
Luckily, it’s a very clean break that connects perfectly, so there’s a lot of surface area in the joint. You can kind of see the line under my pointing finger.
I use Gorilla Glue gel mainly though I’m doing a trial run of locktite gel as well to see if there’s any difference besides priceSo I got my Caribsea Rock in and luckily only one rock was broken. Hmm sounds good. I’ll definitely think about doing that if I ever decide to go bigger and decide to use Caribsea or MarcorockSand and super glue is how i built all my structures. Nice tank. Are those rbta that I see?I got one
The CB I have is usually the one coral that commented on when I show pics to peopleI also owed this photo of my gonis. They all retracted since I killed the flow to take a photo and bumped the rack. Took it quickly since I had another work meeting. The care bear on the right is crazy bright.
I’ve used rock dust and thin superglue or baking soda and thin superglue. Both work well, although I’ve only tried it to on dry base rock.So I got my Caribsea Rock in and luckily only one rock was broken.
