Extremely easy buy a system from brs don't play around with it .. also you don't know how often lfs change there's so that cam be a gamble

That’s a good call! I didn’t even think to question how often an lfs changes their filters.

50 g barrel for waste water and 32 g brute for rodi in my basement bathroom. Hubby hooked it up to tab with timer because I flood the bathroom several time when the barrel overflow. I pump up the waste water to water my garden and for the toilet> I don't want to waste

This membrane is also expensive, but brings my 475 tds tap water down to 2 tds. @pandaparties just curious, what does your BRS membrane bring the 500 TDS down to?

I used to keep cichlids and discus before I converted to reef a bout 10+ yrs now. But thank you for the offer.

Still need a back up. That’s what the w/o lower shut off valves are for. Left one for RO-DI and right on for saltwater. My Apex went mustang last month, so I was doing manual changes till I got it fixed.

My planted FW tank has become pretty boring to me since I started a reef tank. It is nice only having to spend about 20 minutes on it a week though.

I think a lot of us started in FW. I always had aggressive fish but was very intimidated to try try discus...it was like the ultimate FW accomplishment then.
