I think a lot of us started in FW. I always had aggressive fish but was very intimidated to try try discus...it was like the ultimate FW accomplishment then.

I went salty from the start... 2007, even had to read a book back then. I remember wondering what the heck is a "reef tank" vs fish only tank.

When I moved mine up higher in the tank with higher light and higher flow, it started to STN at the tip. I cut it off moved it down and it stopped STNing. I have pretty powerful lights
