Hey I’m kind of new to rodi, I bought a used BRS unit and replaced all the the filters and resin. I noticed the resin turned half brown the first time using it. Do you wait and change the resin once it’s all brown?Like two days ago good ol 500 TDS water here i burn through a bag of resin and set of filters every month
Thats what living in CO gets you! lucky duckMy TDS here straight from tab is 35

Dont forget to change all filters, Carbon, Sediment, Resin and most important the membrain. too many people are not changing it and then crashing there tanks with every water change. dont be that person.

Get a TDS meter and stick it between either two resin chambers or after the second if you have three. Swap as soon as you see 1. Randy has some info on this but 1 tds can actually be worse than a lot higherHey I’m kind of new to rodi, I bought a used BRS unit and replaced all the the filters and resin.
