Found a goni growing between the cracks of some rocks. Not sure which SBB goni it is. But it's an SBB one for sure lol. It must have fallen off into the crack and started growing? Idk but I wonder how big it will grow there lol

@penguinexdeus My trace elements are low. And my CO2 is through the roof. I suspected the CO2 tbh. Going to start dosing trace daily and adding a CO2 scrubber at the end of the month.

Magnesium is lower than I want. Calcium is higher than I want. But I just did a water change on Saturday, and the samples were taken before the WC.

Super cool. What kind of lizard is that? You should get a mud skipper fish.
Yeah it’s a gargoyle gecko. Pretty similar to crested geckos.

Those fish are awesome! It says they have to be in brackish saltwater though and I already have several freshwater fish that I’m moving in there from another tank.

@Kasrift I finished my paludarium. It’s still cleaning up and I’ve got a few more things I’m going to do, but I like how it turned out.

that's beautiful, man! i picked up a 36"x24"x18" (i think) enclosure from someone giving it away with the intention of making a dart frog enclosure. i ended up trading the viv for a 125 and stand tho, but now that i am seeing yours i want to try again lol

Doesn't look so bad. I wouldn't worry about the CO2, but a scrubber won't hurt to boost pH. Magnesium seemed a bit low and you can see the phosphates at time of test were low (0.01). The important trace elements are mostly there - but if you dose some of the KZ or other products that have some trace elements you'll boost the lower ones up. Don't worry much about the 'other trace elements'. Barium/ Selenium i think are the only 'good' ones in that group and if you dose other traces those products probably have them in it. Lithium/ Aluminum would be considered pollutants but neither are overly high to be of any concern.

You had some silicon/ silicate in your RO water which could contribute to diatoms/algae - but the levels in the tank seemed ok compared to the reference range they suggest.

The silicate means the RO needs new filters I assume?

Are we supposed to be posting pictures as we open boxes or was that just the last sale?
