So here's the Ritteri when it first arrived, then in the treatment tank, and a few hours after the first treatment.

I put it straight in the tank hoping for the best, I don't want to medicate unless I have too, but these nems do not handle shipping well at all and almost always require treatment.

The clowns were hosting the torch?
Yes. When the clowns swam up close to the torch the tentacles moved from the water movement. At that point unless the torch called taps prior to moving, the spot was then established as the clownfish’s. The tentacles then moved back into the fish so now the clown is hosting the visiting torch’s tentacles.

a few bad decisions over weekend and i ended up wrecking a good portion of my acros... have lost a bunch of frags, a couple colonies, and some high end pieces... some had been growing for over a year. Things that survived are in sad shape with super pale color, some dead spots, or tips with missing tissue. Probably will lose more before everything said and done. Depressing to say the least and all my own fault and preventable had i been a little more thoughtful... live and learn, but need to take a break from acros for a bit until things recover and i can feel good about them again.

Bright side is only the acros were affected and everything else is good. Gives the LPS and shrooms some time to shine and be joy... here's some random shots of the positive spin... sorry for dirty glass in a few shots... only cleaned 2 of three sides today for whatever reason... Been on a shroom kick since last week and this sale i picked up only shrooms from SBB... looking forward to adding those next week.

Im not positive it is my copperband that mowed down my strats a while back along with several other zoas but seems most likely since it is the most picky eater. I also have an aiptasia eating filefish, CB regal angel, blue tang, one spot foxface. I was also having problems keeping acans, favias, platys and a couple other LPS, but i thought i had a bacteria problem or something. I put my stratospheres and some other zoas, blastos, acans and favias in a box that fish couldnt get to and those ones are all growing great.
Super late to the conversation since I've been in client meetings/happy hour/dinner since earlier today, but I trust a file fish about as far as you can throw them. Don't even know why people take the risk, looking at you too @Rennurdoar

I have a file fish I'm going to return to the LFS, I tried a few zoa frags in his tank and he was nipping them. Didn't eat them but they took a week or more to fully open again.

Ive never seen the filefish doing anything suspect. And with the shape of them, i bet they could get thrown pretty far. Especially if you get a little bit of spin on the throw

Looks like something I could print. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: got pics of the inside?
I can send them to you, does seem like something to print. I'm back home tomorrow, still in Indy.

I drop some brine shrimp eggs in there if I'm on a longer business trip for some live food. It only works in my 10g though because the flow is too high in my 32 gallon.

My goal once I get a big tank up and running is an orange spot filefish pair like viking reef. I know I talk bad about them, but the orange spot are so stunning.
