And probably less ecstatic if it was eating LPS
Have you had a problem with copperband before?

Any fish I have could nip corals, foxface, tang, lawnmower blenny, clownfish even. I read somewhere on here a clownfish decimated some torches, they sometimes will mouth anemone tentacles and they did it to the torch colony killing it.

Everything is a gamble in this hobby it seems.

What printer do you have? Do you find it easy to use? Christmas is coming up and i dont know what to ask for lol
I have a ender 5 S1, it's not easy but also not extremely difficult, a lot of tinkering to find the right print parameters and settings it up to run smoothly.

Once you get past the initial learning curve it's not hard. You know what to do, adjust this, or adjust that. Different prints may require different speeds and temps.

Yes and even less if it was eating acros. But, I think its rare that they eat lps/sps.
I have a sneaking suspicion that i cant keep acans favias and platygyras because of my copperband. I thought it was my water or bacteria or something. But the ones i have in a jail cell out of beak range are growing great.

Im not positive it is my copperband that mowed down my strats a while back along with several other zoas but seems most likely since it is the most picky eater. I also have an aiptasia eating filefish, CB regal angel, blue tang, one spot foxface. I was also having problems keeping acans, favias, platys and a couple other LPS, but i thought i had a bacteria problem or something. I put my stratospheres and some other zoas, blastos, acans and favias in a box that fish couldnt get to and those ones are all growing great.

I think the torch killing clowns were from the clowns rubbing them to death “hosting” the torch

That’s a healthy looking fish. Healthy looking Aiptasia top right as well. Maybe need to feed it some Aiptasia X or something. My bad. I hate seeing Aiptasia.
Yep that's why I got the copperband, I'm getting tired of zapping the things. I've been using sodium hydroxide and works really well but new ones pop up.

I've read about that too. They caused my toadstool to retract for days at a time from hosting it. I'm moving them to the 20 when I catch them. Some corals just don't like to be hosted.

I'm going to print a feeder for him, fill it full of mysis and some X small TDO pellets when he gets use to it. Maybe it will happen but seems pretty rare.
I was thinking about an automated brine shrimp hatchery or something.

We're waiting on approval for a Ender 3 Max Neo. Hopefully soon!

Yeah, I understand. They got in my tank hitch hiking on the first coral I put in the tank. I’ve settled on a three prong approach. Nudis work great on the upper rocks, but they wouldn’t wonder down to the lower areas of the tank or off the rocks. I use Aiptasia X where I can put it on them and it won’t fall off. If they are on a ledge where the Aiptasia X slides off, I just bury them with epoxy glue. All seems to work well together. I figured it’s like weeds in your yard. You just have to keep at them before they can go to seed. Eventually you start winning the battle.
